Welcome to Rentals by Rosie! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for renting clothing and accessories from our collection. By placing a rental order, you agree to abide by these terms, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. Rentals by Rosie is committed to providing high-quality items and excellent customer service, and appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines. Happy renting!
Pricing
All rentals prices are clearly stated at the time of booking. Rentals by Rosie work on a daily rental basis therefore items are charged at a daily rate, the minimum amount of days for hire is 2 days. Prices may vary based on the item and rental duration.
Condition of items and damage
All items are thoroughly checked and cleaned before rental. Customers are fully responsible for the item(s). From the time of delivery to the time of return. The customer shall be responsible for any damages losses or theft of item(s) whilst in their possession.
Rentals are expected to be returned in the same condition as received, with normal wear and tear accepted (e.g loose threads, small scuffs, light fading, minor pilling).
Damages that will not be considered accepted:
Tears or rips, permanent stains, structural damage to zippers, buttons or seams, excessive wear.
1. If the garment is returned in poor condition or includes damages as listed above the renter will be liable to cover any additional costs within 7 days of notice (repairs or extra cleaning fees)
2. If the garment is damaged beyond repair rentals by Rosie reserves the right to charge the renter the full replacement value (RRP) of the item(s). As stated above it is expected that all rentals should be returned in the same condition they were received.
3. If the damage has caused issues to future hires the renter will additionally be charged for this inconveinience. This includes any bookings that need to be refunded or cancelled as a result of the items damage post-hire. This also applies to items returned late.
To ensure a smooth process and the safety of all items, Rentals by Rosie uses a payment processing system allowing to charge a card on file for damages directly. NOTE an invoice will be sent to the renter for damages. Only after consent from the customer will the money be withdrawn. Under no circumstances money will be taken without a direct invoice to the customer.
By reading this liability form you are acknowledging all of Rentals by Rosie terms and conditions. This liability covers all damages whether they occur through accident, negligence or failure to follow garment care instructions as provided by Rentals by Rosie.
Item care
As a rental company, we understand that some items may have minor damages due to normal wear and tear. Any damages that occur must be reported to Rentals by Rosie immediately failure to do so may result in a invoice for damage repair. To ensure transparency, we document each item with photos before and after the rental period. We also provide detailed care instructions to help you take care of the items. It’s important to handle each piece with care while wearing them to maintain their quality for future renters. We suggest the renter is careful around makeup, food, drinks, fake tan, jewellery or anything that may pull or scratch material.
Postage
All rentals must be sent using a 24-hour tracked postage service to ensure safe and timely delivery. This allows us to monitor the shipment and provides peace of mind for both parties. Tracking ensures that you can follow your packages journey and helps us confirm that items arrive on time, ready for your enjoyment. The postage fee is included in the rental price for the initial shipment BUT renters are responsible for purchasing postage for the return of items. Customers are responsible for calculating and allowing enough time for items to arrive when they need them. We advise leaving 1-2 days before the actual day you wish to wear the item. It is also important to double-check that the correct postage address is provided and to include any necessary details in the delivery instructions to ensure smooth processing. Rentals by Rosie is NOT responsible for any issues regarding this. By taking these steps, you can help avoid any delays and ensure your items arrive on time for your special occasion.
NOTE rentals by Rosie is not responsible for any postage delays caused by the courier and no refunds will be accepted due to this.
Late fees
We understand that sometimes things happen, so there is a grace period of 3 days if items are returned late. After this grace period, a charge of 10% of the daily rate of the item will apply for each day the item is not returned. This policy helps us maintain our inventory and ensures that everyone has access to the items they love.
Refunds
Rentals By Rosie want to make it clear that we do NOT offer refunds for any items, even if the clothes don’t fit. So please make sure you check sizes and details carefully before finalising your rental, contact us if you have any sizing queries! However this policy excludes situations where Rentals by Rosie may need to cancel a booking due to unforseen circumstances, in which case we will work with you to find a suitable resolution.
Cleaning
A small cleaning fee is included in all rentals to ensure the quality and cleanliness of all items.
Rentals By Rosie ask that NO attempts to clean an outfit should be made, as this can sometimes cause damage. If fabrics are wrinkled from postage, simply hang the item in a steamy bathroom to help-decrease. Please be careful with food, makeup, fake tan and other substances that could stain the garment. If an outfit requires additional cleaning beyond normal wear an invoice will be sent for the extra cleaning costs.
